How Bitcoin’s Difficulty Adjustment Works
Bitcoin was designed with a clever mechanism to keep block generation consistent: the difficulty adjustment algorithm. Every 2016 blocks (around two weeks), the network recalibrates based on block speed.
eCash (XEC) adds the Avalanche consensus layer on top of PoW. This hybrid called APoW combines the best of both worlds:
Bitcoin built the foundation. eCash upgrades it. Avalanche + Proof of Work is how we move toward a faster, fairer, and more efficient blockchain ecosystem.
